Into me

As I play out this tragedy

I doubt that you’re into me

For how could such majesty

Seek out mortal intimacy?

If you spread your wings liberally,

Then what nest could you make for me?

If you cast your will diligently,

How will mine end up favorably?

My demeanor is sad, you see

For this body sways ominously

Towards a pit of black destiny

Unless there is more to be.

For how you intuit me

Is how you would tune the key

To make this life melody

To show you’re in tune with me.

So I breathe and think hopefully

Your way will wash over me

Your way will wade into me

Your breath will find rest in me.

Then I observe that you’ve mercifully

Supplied all my energy

Your balance has centered me

And focused me presently.

To the truth that you’re into me

You sculpted my inmost being

For in feared love you made me

In sincere love forgave me.

Now I leap to life blissfully

In the deep of thy intimacy

How the love song you send to me

Leaves no doubt that you’re into me.
